Ophelia Hathaway the Gardevoir

Share

This is Ophelia, a Gardevoir wearing an almost latex-like dress. She's into gothic things like rock and metal music. From her appearance, you wouldn't figure that she's a bit shy and introverted in nature with a dress like that. Her tattoo "Star dust" written across her thighs reflects her love for the stars and the distant galaxies, dreaming of places other than the world she was born on.

"In her free time, she often spends it alone, finding it hard to find many to connect with. Walking from the bakeries and grocery store is often a breeze, using her anti-gravity abilities to lift heavy store-bags to bring back home. She was wandering alone at the time when we first met. She froze when we locked eyes, but I could tell she was looking for something. As I got closer, she stepped back. I wanted to assure that I wasn't there to hurt her, so I kept my distance. She was still silent, she mimed and motioned to her wrist, I figured she may have lost a watch, or a bracelet of some sort.

I told her I could help, with a trade in treasure hunting, finding things wouldn't be too difficult. If she's walking in this area, then that means it would have to be nearby, someplace out and about and not hidden. That was before she turned around and started walking towards the cliff side, she beckoned me over to a hole in the wall. It was a cave entrance. Dark and damp. There's no way a little kirlia like her would wander in. Even if this type of environment is more familiar in my field, all cave systems are dangerous. We don't know what we're getting into. I told her to wait at the entrance and to not move. The sun was setting, so I had to hurry. I pulled from my bag, a lamp and moved in slowly. My lamp shined onto the walls, it twinkled in a dazzling light, there were minerals embedded. Nothing new to me at this point. I had to ignore it and move forward. The sound of water drops made in the distant echoes made me think that there was a limit, so I couldn't be in that much deeper. Luckily, I was right, only after a few minutes, I came across a small lakebed in the cave system. I peered into the water. It reflected the little light breaking in from the opening above. It must be how rain drops got in.

Examining the water, I see something shining off my lamp. I reached down to find a watch. It was an old analog watch with a broken face. The hands bent, and no longer functioning. Was this it? It didn't look all that special, but it was the only thing in this area. Everything else was still. Why would she wander into a cave and drop a watch? The light is getting darker so I couldn't hang much longer. I made my way back out without an issue. The navigation of the cave was easier than expected. I saw the kirlia sitting alone on a rock looking up to the sky, as the night came in. I pulled out the watch wondering if this was what she was looking for. The cute girl's face came alive with smiles and joy. It was still wet and broken but it

didn't matter it seemed.

Well, that was simple, now I all I had to do was get on my way back to the town. I told her to take care and try not to lose things again. Walking back to the path, I waved goodbye to her. As I got further away, I had a weird feeling I was being followed. I turned around to see her still right behind me at a distance. She didn't move when I turned, I was bewildered and asked if something was wrong. She walked closer and I closed our distance. Maybe she needed more help? I really didn't have the time for this. I kneeled down to ask her what was wrong. She pointed to the city in the distance, with the lights and the stars. She wanted to go there, so I sighed and, in my heart, couldn't leave someone like her behind, so like anyone would, I took her by the hand, and we walked there silently, gazing at the lights in the stars."
