Poppy!!!

Share

recolor of an old poppy doodle

to be clear Poppy is a bee! A very tiny and joyous bee. I have two versions of drawing her which is her bee and human form. I just have a little bit more fun with her human form. Her stinger and little wings are only visible from her back side

She stays at home a lot making her honey and barely goes anywhere unless it's for food or needed ingredients. She used to be a part of a very high-standard bee colony but as time went on they saw her as a small and useless bee. Also seeing her as a "freak" since she did not appear to look like a normal bee. She was eventually kicked out of the hive and looked down upon since she had no use to them. Now she tries to make herself useful by making honey and baked goods for people. She enjoys the thought of people liking her for what good she can do for others and that what she looks like doesn't mean she's incapable of being useful. She is a super friendly bee, very ignorant of the outside world since she stays cooped up in her home. She worries too much about stopping from her work since she feels like if she isn't making anything for anyone that she is no longer useful to others. But don't worry, her best friend Xavier reaches out to her from time to time as an attempt to help her so that she doesn't overwork herself
