I drew a protogen with a cheesy cap, have gone crazy with gradients and soft shadows.
Sorry for the boring pose.
A lil' bit of MY lore: the protogens are just dead furries whose remains are stuffed into robot bodies, somehow giving them consciousness. The robot bodies are cheap and unbearably squeaky.
Took some inspiration from ZestyLemonss, like the fur color and the cel shading.
