So according to Erma's bio in the Archie Sonic encyclopedia, not only can she turn invisible, but she's strongly implied to have received formal combat training. So naturally this had to be a thing, by my logic.
Also what WAS with Amy being able to go invisible in '06? Erma has some kind of excuse because ermines can camouflage themselves against snow in real life, and I'm assuming that's where they got it.
