Sorry if this was late but ever since last week when it was announced that Toriyama passed away on March 1st, 2024, I and many others were shocked and saddened by the news. It really sucks since I've been a fan of Dragon Ball fan since I was nearly a teen. I remember playing some games from the franchise such as the Xenoverse duology and FighterZ as well as watching videos related to Dragon Ball on YouTube such as TFS's DBZ Abridged, clips of the animes like Goku going Super Saiyan and some informative video essays regarding the series like its home video releases and the Japanese broadcast audio. I also remember reading some of the volumes or chapters of the manga that were in the middle school library and I do wish I can own a copy of each volume for myself one day. All I want to say is thank you Akira Toriyama for creating Dragon Ball and many other creations like Dr. Slump. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't have been a huge impact on many people's hearts as well as revolutionizing pop culture of what it is today. He'll go down as one of the most influential people in the history of manga and anime.
