Duckoo - Monster Rancher Mix 1

This monster mix was my first step into what I thought at the time counted as pixel art. I made the original drawing just under three years ago, but it has since been improved upon and I'm quite happy with the way it has transformed.
I use Monster Rancher 2 assets such as the name plates, text style, backgrounds, monster icons, and monsters in the game (and other monsters from the game series) as the basis of my drawings. They may not be legit skin textures that mask over existing monsters, but I think it's definitely a good close second.
