"A fox lady from the rubber hose animation era, Chiki is here to show you that she might be small, but you might end up being smaller than her in one way or another. Don’t worry: she’s as playful as she’s naughty, you’ll be fine... more or less."

Chiki's story
Since childhood, people have made fun of Chiki’s size —and her name, despite how she likes it, doesn’t help. She’s a waitress in a small cafeteria, and one day a client was especially rude and bullied her, emphasizing how short she was. She left in tears, but after leaving the place, she found a strange shop: “Liz’s Vanishing Spot”. The owner, Liz the Wizard, gave her some items, a pair of gloves and a mallet.
With the Growth Gloves, she can blow them like a balloon, and after she stops, the air goes through her whole body, making her larger —but never larger than 100ft. She can go back to her normal size by pressing any of the gloves’ wrist button.
The Reducer is a mallet that the harder it hits someone, the smaller they turn. No one can be shrunk smaller than two inches tall and the effect lasts five hours maximum.
And thanks to these, she gets her revenge on the bad client, by shrinking him with the mallet and kicking him out. But her boss isn’t pleased and is about to fire her, when she grows and almost destroys the place.
For ten stories, Chiki deals with her problems in the same fashion: she either enlarges herself, or shrinks the bully, or maybe both things happen! Though she starts shy, Chiki becomes confident, playful and quite naughty. But nothing else is known after that, and she vanishes in the mists of time… Until now.

Chiki's actual story
Chiki Vulpin is a character created in the early 30s by cartoonist Joshua Spencer. He got the character and the ten scripts for each short, though only the first one got to the storyboard stage. And no studio accepted Chiki. They said the character was “too niche and creepy”.
Disappointed, Spencer locked his work in some warehouse. In the meantime, he worked in some minor animation jobs. And until the early 40s, he also drew some Tijuana Bibles under the alias Jack Smith. One of them featured a character called Spacy Foxy. She was a fox like Chiki, but in a more human-like shape, and had a space look, with a ray gun to shrink people and use them for her pleasure. She only appeared in one issue, and it’s hard to find it nowadays.
No one knows what happened with Spencer after his Tijuana Bibles stage. Only that his work on Chiki was found by a rubber hose cartoon enthusiast in that very warehouse. And somehow all this time there has made Chiki… different… and alive.
