In the atleast 2 decades sense 4chan's "rules of the internet" were posted- only a few haven't become irrelevant, had addendum's tacked on from new rules, or were changed completely outright.
Rule 63/ 36- the gender swap art rule- has been a good example of good example of a digital coelacanth. And even Smiling Friends art of the main cast as females- even human females- has cropped up.
Weird thing is - I checked google images a little while back if this concept was already tapped- a lot of people on the internet like goth girls, a lot of people on the internet like muscle mommies, and a lot of people on the internet like muscle mommy goth girls- but google images came up nothing for James as a girl- they're almost a perfect fit.
Well, nothing can happen till you swing the bat- hope people think this is a home run.
The text in the corners is a good summation of some of my thoughts for making the piece but there is some more stuff I have to share- Jamie was originally, like, double Jame's height proportions wise- but I had to reduce to that so the aspect ratio of the art pieces would fit more nicely into horizontal monitors. This was also a piece I started a while back but I got side tracked by other stuff- I wanted to get this out before August because I wanted to test the "popular of the month" metrics thing worked. Like is it given out at the time or if a piece gets higher votes/ views after the award is it given to the new highest piece in the same month?
Ah well- I'm just going to keep at production and see if I can get more out more regularly. I do have some more Smiling Friends stuff I want to do in addition to original creations- and if people like Jamie I might do more of her too.
(Blue voice )Smell ya later!
