a gambler tree is a tree from the planet Newhome it can have 1 to 9 flowers each flower is either a death flower that when a Thein or Dryin inserts its tongue in the sensor sack a spike will shoot into the creature brains killing the Thein instantly turning the corps into fertilizer for the tree but if a Thein sticks its face into a sweet flower they are free to drink from the sweet sack and depending on the maturity of the tree the flower will stick seeds on the nose of the thein randomly spreading its young.

Because the flowers nectar is so sweet Thein society has farmed gambler trees like humans did with sugar cane .in the past Theins tested flowers by sacrificing slaves but currently Dryin owned farms use sticks to trigger the sensor sack but there are also farms that use enslaved Dryins or captured Glackins
