Jazza's contest was the create a background for his axe through a visual narrative. For my story I tried to convey the tale of a convict who has to wield the axe to take out various gangs in the city.
Through various clues in the picture I tried to allude to the fact that the gang he's about to take out is actually his former gang. So now he has to decide between his deal with the inspector or his brother family.
There was a lot of experimentation with this piece from photo manipulation in the background to the use of many different texture brushes but I've very happy with the outcome. Do you see those bandages? Those are some nice bandages.
