This is the Info we have on this Reploid we’ve encountered in the Field here and there, yet there’s nothing much that isn’t shown in the Footage we’ve gotten.
While it’s not an Official Designation, we’ve decided to refer to him as the “Cybernetic Shotokan” due to his proficiency in various Human Martial Arts. This Shotokan has a pale Caucasian skin tone, near-blank yet lightly Cyan-Colored Eyes that have a feint glow. He’s been an Amicable Asset in the Occasions where he’s been in Conflicts with us. But. Due to the Combat Skills he possesses and the often Efficient yet Brutal ways he Retires Targets, we’ve decided to keep tabs on him to prepare for a Maverick-Infection. Given his Reckless Disregard for his condition much of the time in combat, we fear the Virus could easily take hold. Though strangely enough, he must have either convinced Reploid Mechanics to Perform Maintenance under the Table and remain unregistered, can effectively hide himself as he repairs himself, or troublingly both.
Speaking of Combat Logistics. Cybernetic Shotokan has been seen showing honed knowledge of various martial disciplines. While we’ve yet to have concrete knowledge on the Limits of his capabilities, yet he seems Habitual; and has used the following Arts enough times around us to safely call these his “Ol’ Reliables”. For now at least.
For Hand-to-Hand Combat. His Fallbacks are an Aggressive Form of Karate linked to an Ancient Assassination Dojo, Muay Thai (Made Much More Deadly With His Pointed Arm And Leg Armors), Bajiquan (Also Enhanced By His Armor), and we’ve even seen him employ American Boxing in a “No Holds Barred Exhibition Extravaganza” (His Words, Not Mine) where in a clearing within a Junkyard he Brutally Beat Down at least 15 Maverick Reploids, 25 various Mechanoloids, and a Maverick in the Image of a Bison we were unable to even give a moniker before he was Reduced to Scrap Metal. When not tearing his Foes apart with his own hands (A Rather Unpleasant Sight In This Seasoned Navigator’s Opinion), he has the ability to manifest Temporary Melee Weapons out of the Energy in his Core, which Ignites in a fiercer Light Blue. As with his MMA, we’re not sure we’ve covered Everything but he has his Favorites. He can Conjure Swords from across their History. From Short Dirks to Massive Zweihandlers. Though he typically uses a Katana and a Broadsword. Fitting given his Armor’s blend of the Knight and Samurai’s Aesthetics. He’s been also seen to use Broad and Great Axes, an extending Energy Staff, a Kusarigama with a Spiked Ball Weight and extending chain, and used most prominently along with his MMA; Energy Claws protruding from each Finger.
As I’ve previously stated, he’s generally been Helpful and Charismatic with the Maverick Hunters and the remains of Repliforce. Even going out of his way sometimes to Help Out after the Conflict. But, frustratingly, as soon as we start to get any Meaningful Information out of him. He’ll end whatever Point he’s made then Teleport away. Despite us using Limit Barriers to Quarantine the area so no Mavericks do the same. We’re not sure how he’s Circumvented our Tech but it seems he has.
Further more, we’ve recently found a known Emerald Spears Hideout in the Middle of an Inferno. With any Flame-Resistant Hunters we had, we got the Humans’ Bodies out at least. And as Unfortunate as their continued Attacks against Reploid-Kind are. This Isn’t How We Want This Resolved. Too many Humans and Reploids have perished due to Sigma’s Machinations. We don’t need to Bolster That. So when we Found Claw Marks carved into the Victim we got spooked. While they’re Metal-Based Gouges and not burned through with Plasma, we’re not gonna rule him out as a Prime Suspect.
The Only Problem being is Finding the Darn Guy. He’s never left a Trace of himself at each scene, and given our Modular Nature and his seeming Deal with Mechanics. He’s Remained A Wandering Wraith of a Warrior to us. Let’s Hope he’s on our side, or we can Take Him Out.
