While the gods created eighteen masks of power to help the chosen heroes fulfill their destiny, eighteen other masks were forged in secret. With the assistance of Akvas, Orbogeddon created new masks of power and planned to entrust them to the vilest people in Alayssia.
The Mask of Corruption was created by Akvas and Orbogeddon and entrusted to Thacnul. It allows its user to break down any inorganic object except for Diviron, though the target must be within range of vision. This power cannot affect organic material, but it can work on the inorganic parts of living targets like prosthetics.
