Creation Process:

After a month away, I'm back with this new render I came up with while on vacation. For a while, I've had this idea of making a render with this kind of electrical structures, as I find them quite interesting visually. Even though they are pretty common basically everywhere, they can often be extremely complex, with a ton of cuts and extra faces that make up different shapes that repeat all over the structure. Their size is also something that gets me every time, specially when they're seen from very far away. Idk just something I might start adding to my renders cuz they look cool

Specifically for this render, I really wanted it to have a ceiling made up of two arcs, but the first idea was too similar to my other art, so I ended up changing it. The main problem is that the first iteration of the render didn't contain anything that made it stand out from the others. You couldn't tell where the place was based in, it just had a ton of doors and hallways, so it was pretty generic. So, for this final render, I actually got inspiration from the manga Blame! Noise, which contained a panel with a very similar scene. I also really fucking love the artstyle, so it got me drawing a rough idea of this same render soon after, with the structures added. One final thing to note is that this is the first render with a "center" that's not symmetric. Every time I do a render that has a visible middle point, I always try to make everything symmetric unconsciously, as a way to make everything look better. However, in this case, I decided that I would get that out of the way, and make all the decoration different for both sides. The main structure of the map is the same, but everything else is randomly placed without any symmetry or composition guide in mind. This is the reason why there are so many decoration models.

During vacation I also sketched some other ideas I might turn into renders in the near future, so I have some vague ideas for my next art
