Creation process:

Back to making corrupted renders, as the end of the game is near. For this one I really wanted to make the most corrupted scene I could imagine, and I ended up with this, which I think is pretty nice. With no sight of the exterior, only the corrupted version of grating, rocks, and leaves are left making this long path. Also, behind the grating fence everything is made out of water, by that I mean that this whole place is inside a huge water cylinder.

On a side note, I'm working extremely hard on the game right now, as the people supporting me on youtube have inspired me a lot. Never thought these ARG-like videos would actually be popular before the game released, but I'm really happy it happened. For all of you who have watched and liked the videos I've been uploading, thank you. It means a lot that people care about my project, and I'm sure you'll like the final result.

Now, regarding the technical stuff, starting was a bit tricky, as the water shape limited what I could do with the scene a bit, having something like that surrounding all the render is a bit intimidating, which left me thinking for a while what could I add to decorate the scene. Fortunately, the textures I've created seem to work very well, and kind of work as a decoration element. I also added some trees and leaves which gave me a bit of trouble because depending on their position the leaves looked white instead of red, which is their main color. Using a low poly approach to create the leaves, I expected to encounter this kind of problem at some point, but fortunately, after some tweaking I got it looking fine.
