Well I have to say this was notbad Its a simple piece even black and white but you can see the subtle details of it all so nice job all the way around some really nice work indeed, maybe make a colored version.

Solid work for a first. :) The form's clean, the scene serene, the lily pad such a suitable background (it is a lily pad right?), though wonder how it'd all be with color, also maybe with a traditional pixel palette...
I guess you're not doing Inktober this year after all hmm? Was thinking there might be a lot to catch up on here but this might be doable. ;)
