This is pretty good, the style is very close to the original. The only thing I really think you could improve is how the characters overlap each other. I get it though, you’re working to fit them on the background.

Really wanted to draw Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy so I did. The background I grabbed online to test how the characters look with the drop shadows, figuring an actual show background would look way more fitting than one I made. The idea was to make it like the characters were on cels, a la Season 1. You be the judge of how well it was executed.
