Crouching Scorpion, Decapitated Marine

Just trying out a more organic shape rather than the more strictly geometric shapes of Space Marines and such. And also trying out a different shading method while still using the lineart method I used previously. its a lot more loose and quicker i guess. it has been a while since i shaded something in earnest. will have to try it out a bit more.

Other than that, in terms of design tweaks(i would call it) were done to update the outdated look of the eldar units to the standards of the few current miniatures that we have available. Or at least, that was the intent. Mostly, the armor has been turned more organic and bone-like, instead of being perfectly shaped and polished. This was inspired by the changes shown on the eldar units in the Dawn of War 3 trailer, arriving at a design in someplace between the perfectly shaped and polished to organic and bone-like

and thats about it. unfortunately the chainsabre has been not illustrated as I couldnt make it fit with the composition.
