Dojchin of the Ailing Valley

Character design done for an art challenge. The theme was redesigning a local (Macedonian) folk hero, so I went with one called Bolen Dojchin (Sick/Ailing Dojchin). His story is that he is bedridden with a terrible illness and must fight to keep his little sister (the girl on the bed ob his back) safe from evil suitors and other dangers.
The inspirations behind the design were Dark Souls and Cuphead, so I tried to design him as a boss that'd fit a mashup of the two.
