Behind the Scenes - Last Chance in Xollywood | Airlanes 3D Reference and Final Version

Live the life of an extraterrestrial movie director in the intergalactic future. You work for Last Chance Productions, a low-budget movie studio full of sleazy, desperate, and eccentric aliens. Will you risk your health, sanity, and ideals to get the movie done on time and under budget? It's a living! Sort of.
Some of the perspective in Last Chance in Xollywood's backdrops were particularly challenging for me to draw so I occasionally relied on blocking out the scenes as 3D objects in Blender, then tracing over them later in Photoshop. This also allowed me to get a better idea of how the shadows should fall, allowing for more realistic compositions. This one shows the opening airlanes scene. I used a variety of colours to help me distinguish each object once brought into Photoshop.
