The prompt had been "skull" and I got inspired by Dark Cabaret Music and the trope "femme fatale".
The sketch:
Sculpting out the body and the dress. I had thought to make her an oktopus at first, but later on changed it into a jellyfish- pretty and deadly.
Added some shapes as a background and was still figuring out the dress. Added red flowers for contrast and interest. Also: skulls.
Changed the background color to green to increase the dramatic effectXD I wanted it to look more spooky and threatening too, added some glow to the skulls.
Decided to draw a jellyfish-like veil and ruffle-like tentacles. Went full color dodge mode tooXD
Later on, added glowing eyes to the skulls and refined the piece more until it looked finished.
