Meet Riona and Ekio!

Riona's a shy spirit who's always had trouble making friends. Due to her clumsiness and tendency to daydream, she often gets made fun of by other inhabitants of the netherworld. One day after a particularly rough instance of bullying, she's happened across by Ekio, a playful tomboy type. Despite being a lover of mischief, Ekio sympathizes with Riona and tries cheering her up. It isn't long before the two become very good friends who go on to partake in all sorts of strange and exciting adventures.
