I was fiddling around with drawing a large picture using brush strokes and never changing the default brush or brush size, and felt like I wanted to try making something bold and round and shiny, so I ended up feeling like drawing Gato from Chrono Trigger, who I've always loved the design of. This was a fun exercise, but it took me forever and was tedious, so I don't know if I'll paint like this again haha. I only used colors taken from his sprites, and only used colors from the background tiles of his arena, so this has the entirely "real" palette, which was a fun limitation to create for myself here.

Still can't believe we're living in a world without Toriyama.
