I found this on google search. this is incredible! I never noticed that it had those propellers at the top. I have a question. What piece of concept art are you referencing?
I worked on modelling this for months, and actually learned a lot of new ways to work in Blender. I've worked very hard and done a lot of research and study to try and create the most accurate-to-game model of the original Halberd design from Kirby Super Star for the SNES (different than the remake's redesigned version).
This involved studying the only piece of concept art available for it, to try and decipher what's meant to be modeled on the back of the main bridge area, studying in the ingame sprites- there are several but most of them are smaller and smaller background sprites for distance models, though they also taught me a few things about the form and shape of the ship, as well as study on real life battleships and how they would typically layout certain things like the yard masts etc.
I've always had a love for this design since I was a kid, and it's like a dream come true that I've finally been able to model it as accurate as I can to match the original ingame render, It's a shame I've never been able to find the actual 3d model they used for the prerendered 3d sprite and Im not sure if it exists anywhere.
I respect the design for being an homage to Space Battleship Yamato with the mask on the front possibly being inspired by the Arcadia from Captain Harlock, as well as the wing/sail design taken straight from the mechanical soldiers from Laputa Castle in the Sky. I really love this thing a lot. I'm not a fan of the modern redesign unfortunately, so sorry.

Those red propellers on the top, I believe are actually an old style of radar array.
As for the concept art, I had to find it again but thankfully I got it here, hopefully links work in replies here. This page of the 20th anniversary artbook, the sketch shown at the very bottom of the page here: https://i.imgur.com/PPuK3Ww.jpeg
