This is an image of a blue whale - in particular, the whale named 52 Blue. Blue whales communicate with each other by emitting sounds within certain frequencies - usually 15-25 Hz. This whale vocalises at 52 Hz, meaning that even when near other whales, they cannot hear it. That makes 52 Blue one of the loneliest animals on the planet, as it cannot communicate at all through its voice, and thus has never been part of a group. 52 Blue lives a completely solitary life.
