Finding someone that has the skill, knowledge and bravery to face all the types of mortal danger the ISO Scouts encounter in a daily basis are so few and far between that each and every one are sent in enough armor and equipment for any type of supernatural monster. It's a shame no one expected a lightining spear in the desert...
