Joint-Crab doesn't know why, but all the other crabs look weird. He doesn't know either why he's in a beach: he woke from his "shut-off" one day, and he was already there. He doesn't complain tho, he enjoys the sand and sun. The water is another thing though...

First, I tried making an armadillo char, but I didn't like the idea, and I didn't get to anything, so I eliminated that. While doing all this, I was hearing "Tropical Resort" from Sonic Colors. My brain thought in Spanglish, and I understood the name as "Tropical Spring", so I went ahead with that ("Resort" sounds like "Resorte" which means "Spring" in spanish).

The robot idea appears similar to ChemiCondor, but while ChemiCondor is an advanced humanoid android bird, Joint-Crab is more of an animatronic robot with a conscience (Fnaf? where?). It's design is based around gears, springs and... joints. Crabs usually are colored red, but I've always prefered to color them orange.
