In a certain forest there clings a dense fog. Whirling about to obscure your sight and muddle your mind. You’d walk into the woods along the tattered and overgrown path, hoping to find your way through, when the fog rolls in. After a while you begin to hear the flitting of wings behind you. A small breath down your neck.
Hold your breath and don’t respond. No matter what she says, no matter her temptations, do not loosen your will. Not a single breath.
Continue and soon you’ll find yourself at the edge of the forest. Only now can you take a breath and thank God.
Do not let the thoughts or dreams fetter you. Move on. Don’t try to see what would happen. Do not turn around.
