I love the style and detail! The embers are gorgeous! And then I love the meaning you brought to the piece. The soft colors and lines in the girl beautifully contrasts the world around her and make her a strong focal point!

Finally, I managed to entry Jazza's challenge of the month! I had tons of fun colouring this piece and wanted to create some other meaning to it. I feel that the man who kneels in front of the grave, griefs not only the loss of his beloved spouse but also the loss of the Earth and nature. Maybe the couple met when the world was still beautiful? Maybe the girl reminded him of all the memories from that time? This entry is a depiction of my theory :> (original art by Josiah Brooks)
