Things Aren't Always What They Seem

I created this piece using a $6 (CAD) secrets diary kit from Walmart which included a small diary with lined pages, a pink ball point pen, and a black light invisible ink pen.

I tried to make the character (I named him James) have a confident pose and a cheerful expression but also make it look a bit off so it made sense when I put the invisible monster in, but I now realize that invisible ink pens are incredibly hard to use for drawing which is why that part of the drawing looks weird.

Anyway, in the end this was super fun to make and really challenging. Thanks Jazza for giving me this opportunity and I hope you like it!

(I'm not a photographer, I'm an artist so I'm sorry about the bad photos)
