A species of bipedal Felines who share a lot in common with people.

They often make villages within rain forests. and like most animals, they do sometimes travel into local towns or cities and unfortunately, have been involved in Vehicular accidents, however, they're beginning to adapt the practice of "looking both ways" before trying to cross a road, and will also pay close attention for the sound of an engine.

They show unmatched intelligence due to their house-building and tool making skills, building swords and wooden homes reinforced with sandstone, they've even made attempts at firearms.

The rectangular markings beneath their eyes are somewhat luminescent in the dark, the reason for this trait is still unknown.

They're commonly shy and skittish towards people and will keep their distance.

It is illegal to hunt Scavcats and is seen as murder, punishment is on the same level as killing someone. 

"Scavcat crossing" signs have been put on 93% of roads. 

it is required you call the nearest emergency service if you see a Scavcat in distress like how you would anyone else. 

Scavcats are recognized as Tribal groups, and therefore are viewed as people, and shall be treated equally.
