You really depict this scene with a nice grace and a strange serenity. The lone figure next to the prominent midground rock really seems purposed and lonely at the same moment- there is a nice sense of sadness; the water really sucks any happiness out of the location, the fog adding to the sadness as the background hills really adds an excellent sense of foreboding and power. It seem to be just a bit better with a light snow, to add to the emotion of the scene and add to the beauty of it as well.
