Something I've been working on on and off for the last couple of months...! I decided to finally finish it up and get it off my 'to-do list'. I painted this as a sort of test of the knowledge I gained from doing landscape speed paintings. It was educational and I learned some new techniques while painting this, though I'm glad it's over and out of the way now so I can move onto new things...!

Pardon me for faving and running yesterday!

I really enjoyed this piece. I'm quite a fan of dragons, and so when I saw this scene, and the relationship that these two apparently have, it made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. The pose, expressions and layout of the overall piece feel really natural, and I'd love to hear what the dialogue would be between the two characters.

There's some funny perspective things going on with your background. Some of the trees. The stream. But its not anything jarring enough to take the viewer out of the moment.

A very very nice concept. Keep up the good work!

This came out very well! Nice atmospheric perspective. A few things I would recommend would be more contrast. You need lighter lights and darker dark's. That will give your painting more pop. Go in and add some lighting to the trees, leaves, and grass. It will also shape out your picture as well as getting rid of the blurriness from the soft edge brushes. You have some talent! Keep of the good work!

beautiful

I love all the little details that were put into it and the expressions on the dragon and girl.

*on a side note out of boredom:
Girl: "No, this is my hot chocolate!"*

Beautiful!

really poetic <3
but it's a bit flat, more contrasts maybe?
