The original is much better. The clarity gives definition and the use of light gives more depth. I like the gradations of soft shading which highlights an aspect of friendship between the subjects. I think that monochrome is the most demanding color pallate for any work and you've mastered it very well in this piece. Thanks for sharing.

This was one of my least favorite artworks of the year so I made a new edit of it that I think looks better. I feel bad for posting a version that isn't true to what I submitted to school, so here is what the original render looked like:
I probably won't make edits of the rest because I want to be posting these the way they were originally created.
