When I first started playing Metroid Fusion, I imagined that the Samus you played as was actually the SA-X and that you were some type of secret weapon the Federation was developing with experimental X parasites. Meanwhile, the real Samus hunted you down to destroy this imposter (that idea kinda got shattered towards the end of the game lmao).
