Yup, I decided to make an entire Pokémon region based on Italy, with most of my old fakemon in it as well

Rascub, the Grass Hyena Pokémon

Grass Type

Based on Hyenas, for most of their history Spotted Hyena were actually found in Europe too, which is why I based this starter on them.

Alpyre, the Fire Goat Pokémon

Fire Type

Based on the Chamois, a goat species that lives in the Alps, and expecially around italy.

Tardipaw, the Water Bear Pokémon

Water Type

Based on Brown bears, which are also found in italy, it is also a pretty obvious pun.

there are other inspirations for all of them, but they're more obvious in the evolutions so I won't spoil them here, feel free to make theories about their evolutions tho
