The Great Catacombs of Urheim is, as the name would suggest, the grandest burial site in the world. It is hidden deep underground, below all things, and connected to almost any point in the world by magic pathways. The dutiful gravedigger is the one who holds the key to these pathways, and a quaint artisan who fashions each corpse its own little resting place.

It is not known what he is, or if he has any relation to the maggot gravetender within. Some believe he was merely willed into existence by the restless dead with no one to bury them, akin to the synthesis of the Nue.
