The Quantum Mass Projector (QMP) was a prototype from Big Mountain, originally meant for hologram testing but discovered to emit dangerous gamma blasts. Shelved after losing to RobCo in a military contract, it was later repurposed in 2074 for the Las Vegas Sphere restoration. Disguised as a projector-generator combo, it powered the facility until the Great War froze it in time. Despite attempts by Brotherhood Paladins to retrieve it, the QMP remains untouched due to tight security. A strange looking device that seems to be a projector of some sort however, this device is actually a one of a kind QMP or quantum mass projector despite being a device used to project things sinister use for this thing. This is actually a secret prototype designed by big mt or big mountain it was originally for hologram testing however it was found out that this thing light isn’t just well a projection light. It’s also gamma blast after this was found out, they decided to change the direction of the project, and this is how this weapon despite its power during a military testing for contracts big mountain got pushed to the side for one of Robco’s inventions putting this weapons production pause for eternity Basically it was thrown into a storage collecting dust until 2074 where new restoration project was announced This restoration project was a project for restoring the Las Vegas sphere and if you don’t know what the Las Vegas spher is Sphere (also called Sphere at the Venetian Resort) is a music and entertainment arena in Paradise, Nevada, United States, east of the Las Vegas Strip. However the issue was that the old power source for the was kind of unmaintain and destroyed which then got the attention of big mountain  due to Robco was one of the benefactors of the project they backed out due to unknown reasons causing big mountain to step in and give them this mass quantum projector which they sort of lied to the people working on the project and said it was a it’s a projector combined with a generator. However, they also did modify the quantum mass projector with a computer ports and made look like a regular projector and they did modify it to a point where it did actually worked as a projector. However, it’s sinister. Use is still found on the weapon either way a poor coyote did accidentally get disintegrated. installed which the people installing it did not talk about it anyways the served as the core of the new Las Vegas sphere even though the project was done and opened in 2075 a new renovated sphere did not last long due to the great war, putting the entire facility freezing it in time however, thanks to a security and other issues the projector hasn’t been touched in 200 years even though some brotherhood paladins tried to obtain the projector however, the security overwhelm them, and they didn’t make it so yeah that’s kind of the whole lore also, how I would imagine this thing it’s a mixture between the sonic emitter from old world blues and the alien blaster just shooting the sonic emitter projectile but also having a 100% crit rate and you know if you know the name of the vampire baby turning into dust after like a light was flashed onto it.
