70 - Selfless Knight

Share

70/336

Is selflessness a good thing? Why isn't it a good thing? Why is it a good thing?

What does it mean to be selfless...?

Am I selfless? Are you selfless?

I adore the genius of the enemy. It depicts selflessness perfectly.

We have two sides Isaac and The Knight.

The Knight sees and does. We see others who may need help, who are there. We want to the best for them. After finding the target we just do what we do without thinking while ignoring our Isaac, maybe we'll get messed up by this but we aren't in control here, he's inside us and behind us because that's where we want him to be. We won't let him out and we won't even acknowledge him. He will be experiencing pain he will go through a lot. That's not how we want to show ourselves to the person we care about. We're hiding him behind a mask, of a brave knight always ready to help. We don't need help. We can't need help. But we do... and what help can we get? Some people will see what are we hiding behind. Maybe not all will decide to help. There will be some though. People who even through tears will be able to wake us up from the trance that we are put in. People who care. And people we love.

This enemy is just something else... and Edmund is a genius.

This one shoots tears back? I haven't made it too far into the game xP

Furiartur responds:

It's just faster, that's it. They don't spawn too often.
