I love the little character and how much you can portray with a still image. Great
Thankie!
The animation is a next step!
It's extremely good. You have a unique take on how you draw humans.
I'm stunned by the quality of the environment that you've drawn in this scene. Excellent work!
This little guy has a real prototype.
The whole scene is about my friend's commute to work ^^
The van looks fantastic, the bus station looks fine but a bit bland. I think the road is a bit lacking, like the curb doesn't seem quite right, I think that crack under the station might be whats messing with me for it. The buildings also look just flat, I'm having a hard time detection much depth to them, the building in the center is ok, just flat, but the one of the left, I can't actually tell what is going on with it. Like the shadows for it don't quite add up to anything in my mind. The character is ok, if somewhat bland also, he just looks like hes lacking some detail, although that can be excused since that could be a method to make animation easier.
EDIT: Well you did a good job, really the only thing missing on the van are hubcaps. Anyway, if you want to get better at pixel art then you might want to check out this tutorial for it. https://blog.studiominiboss.com/pixelart
I think the main reason is I tried to fix old absolutely flat drawing I made couple of years ago. I worked on the bus mostly, and you clearly can see it.
First of all I need to make limited color pallets and practice more on geometry objects and separation of different layers, it's still tricky for me to draw buildings -_-
Thanks for your oppinion about this drawing!
