Bayou Billy 2 Mock Up

This is my very first attempt at doing pixel art. I wanted to handle what I imagined a would be sequel to the not so classic NES game Bayou Billy would look like. I used the original game as a jumping off point and purposely kept all the colors/palette exactly the same. The only color I tinkered with was the blue, which was super saturated in the original game. I needed to adjust that for the sake of the moody looking jungle.
I would imagine that the game The Adventures of Bayou Billy 2 (also known Mad City 2 in Japan) was released probably in 1991 for example!
It reminded me of Double Dragon initially; I've never heard of the game Bayou Billy before! But definitely it is good pixel art, and you taught me about a new game.
