BACKSTORY: Originally known as Argus Koopa, the younger brother of Bowser Koopa. Argus was separated from his brother at an infant age by Kamek to isolate them so they would turn into cold hearted conquerors. He was given to another Magikoopa named Kandell and raised at the Northern Kremisphere, where he would develop a talent for swimming, tennis, and hunting. He was just as spoiled as baby bowser but even more dangerous as he had ways to turn everything into a weapon. Argus got pissed when Kandell took away his privileges for acting a fool then fatally stabbed her with her own trophy. After Bowsers first defeat at the hands of Mario, Argus was contacted to help, but he too underestimated the plumber. Bowser, being the grown child he is, banished Argus to Sarasaland. Here, Argus would wander the desert, with a limited supply of food and desperate for water. One day, he approached a cloaked smiling man, who gave him a strange flower that was said to cure any creature's thirst. Argus took the flower then underwent a metamorphosis, changing his skin color, mouth and shell into something beyond recognition.

The thirst was quenched, but only for so long. Now, he continues to roam the deserts in search of oases to drain, and a way out.
