My personal favorite yokai, the kappa!

Kotono found this guy on the side of the river bank, with the water in his head almost completely spilled.

She quickly came to the rescue and with help from a cucumber offering, the two became fast friends.

Mitsuru also has a special ability when given a rare type of cucumber but I'll explain at a later date.
