Spacers don't really have an army or a nation of their own, usually belonging to someone else's nation, or running off to join separate bands of pirates or raiders. When you're already at rock bottom, Raiding and pillaging are a step up. People belonging from no flag, no home, owned and traded among differing nations and corporations as chips on a table for diplomacy. No more and no less. A black flag with two grey crosses is the only flag commonly united under.
So here's just a random assortment of whoever's and nobodies from some rock station floating in deep space. Angry. Frustrated. And forgotten.
