He seems more machine then man. Interesting individual and has a cautionary air about him.

DESCRIPTION
He came out of nowhere and started almost from the bottom as a field medic in the 734th Motorized Rifle Battalion of the Army of Liberation of Tavria. A virtually incapable formation, constantly in need of new soldiers and supplies, it was left to fend for itself. Recruiting recruits was also their own concern. One of those recruits was Narud. I'm sorry, Dr. Narud. There's very little documented evidence of the Doctor's work at the time. All we know is that the soldiers, who had previously recognized neither the authority of their superiors nor direct orders from their commanders, were quite willing to listen to the opinion and carry out the orders of this... man... Sorry, it is very difficult to use this word in relation to Dr. Narud. We have it on record that since his arrival, the battalion's mortality rate has dropped by almost 34% compared to previous periods. Of course, it was still high, but it was an impressive result. In addition, we had early versions of the Viperia serum, which was already superior to any other military stimulant of its kind we had at the time. Not to mention that with virtually no logistics, the 734th had no problem with implants for battle-scarred soldiers - Dr. Narud supplied prototypes of his work to anyone who approached him.
And when on the western direction there was a breakthrough of the Tauride Army units and the 734th stood in front of the enemy vanguard, no one even expected that they would delay the offensive for a month, which gave the main forces time to regroup and counterattack. Battalion Commander Major Shait and the rest of the officer corps were given the award, but it was clear to the common soldiers whose credit it really was. It was as if Dr. Narud himself didn't care. He sought neither the heights of military ranks, nor awards, nor trivial praise. The altruism of this... man was not clear until my colleagues and I had the opportunity to work with him personally. He was transferred to our Specialized Science Corps #00-15 thanks to the patronage of Brigadier General Reytern, of which the 734th was a part. Admittedly, when Dr. Narud first appeared before us, everyone, including myself, had the same reaction: disgust and incomprehension. A man of indeterminate age, his entire body like stitched together scraps of flesh, most of which had been replaced with implants he'd designed himself. Totally naked, without a single hair, his skull was covered in a network of scars. One eye was a blind squirrel, and the other eyelid was fixed with a steel plate, seemingly bolted directly into his head. It was also hard to tell with what emotion he was speaking, as a filtering system was deliberately embedded in the seat of his jaw. The accent was clearly pronounced in his speech, which gave him away as a native of central Tavria.
He was reluctant to make contact with the scientific team, outside of work: while he said very little about his life, when it came to projects, he tried to control every aspect of development. And this bore fruit. Within six months he had risen from assistant to full-fledged member of the research team, and in another six months, when the head of the department died in tragic circumstances during an experiment, he took his place and no one minded. At least, no one dared to speak out loud against it. In truth, New Tavria had gotten its hands on the best weapon against the damned separatists - intelligence. And so, ending my notes, I will summarize - Narud may be the man who can stop this war.

Intense
Really cool! Liked how you actually gave a story and it was good stuff too.
By the way, not saying you stole the design, but he ended up looking a lot like Ezra from Underrail. Hard to say which one has the creepier backstory.
BAD. ASS.
Love this, and love the crafted back story of it!
AWESOME!
