Kara leaned too far forward and accidentally got her hair in the green magic thing. Her hair will no longer be brown from this point on. (Trying to write in a legitimate backstory for high school me drawing the character with green "anime coloured" hair)

Gonna add in some backstory just for fun:

She's a swamp witch in training...who use to be a temple monk in training (the blue symbol on her clothing), until a drastic event happened where bad guy did the bad thing, causing her to flee, and somehow ending up in a far away swamp for several years only to be found and adopted by an old swamp witch.

Also from a rare race of humans that can control fire, although due to missing out on the earlier monk training, that ability was never "unlocked", causing a lot of regret, anxiety, and hate...an overall sense of lack of identity I guess. To make up for the lack of controlling fire, young Kara found a spell that allowed one to control insects, or more notably, fireflies (her signature ability), however, due to being inexperienced, Kara accidentally turned a firefly into a "very long lived" eyeball...which she keeps as a pet named "Foot".

Man this reads like a 10 year old's fan character who has all the powers.
