Based on the album The Age of Plastic by The Buggles, she’s an amalgamation of technology from a bygone era. Although she withers to the passage of time, her heart and soul push her forward into the new age, hoping for a better future.
Oh god, this embodies that vibe perfectly. Immediately got “Video Killed the Radio Star” in my head now.
It would kinda be fun for her to have a dramatic foil character that showcases the type of technological world we live in now… and how hollow it is.

I had a similar idea that her past self was that character; some pop star/celebrity who managed to build an empire around her image. Inspiring her with today’s tech and culture would be interesting. Almost poetic.
