Or Ixtaccihuatl, both are correct.

For non-Mexican people, in Mexico City there's a volcano called Popocatepetl and by its side there's a mountain that looks like a woman sleeping called Iztaccihuatl.

Popocatepetl was the most handsome Aztec warrior meanwhile Iztaccihuatl was the most beautiful Aztec princess, they were deeply in love but Popocatepetl had to go to war, he promised her they were going to get married as soon as he came back, but she got the fake new that Popocatepetl died in battle, a few days later she died of sadness. When Popocatepetl came back just to find out she was dead, he carried her to the highest mountain and placed her there, then he lighted a torch and stayed by her side until he died too.

That's why the volcano is by the mountain's side, always watching his beloved one in her eternal sleep.
