“I wouldn’t expect you to know me at first glance. My whole thing was about people avoiding looking at me where I came from. Here, the mundies know me as Medea, and many humorously call me Meds. But my real name that I’m best remembered for, is Medusa.

  Many scholars, outcasts, and overall mythology fanatics know about me. Just a poor girl from Greece, turned against her will, into a monster who could turn all living creatures to stone with a simple stare. Well coming to good old New York City in recent years, I chose to make that curse my power, to instill fear in anyone who might try to use or bully me. And for a time, I was in control, with my own minions to carry out any order without question.

  This lifestyle lasted only for a few months of course. Soon enough someone came along to challenge me, the enforcer of Fabletown, called the Big Bad Wolf. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t admire the fight this Bigby Wolf put up. But then again, being an actual wolf, of course he’d have superior smell and hearing to compensate for his eyes. It was a long fight, but in the end, he won. And rather than kill me, the sheriff instead took away my eyes, leaving me without the curse I exploited. It was indeed another massive tragedy I suffered, but this one was at least my own fault, unlike back in Greece.
