The Indio Siren/Succubus.
Sometimes she is considered a benign spirit who helps women give birth.
But the evil version is a seductress who lures in (adulterous or promiscuous) men to trample them. She tends to hide off the trails or behind bushes to hide her feet, which are always deer hooves. Identifying the deer hooves in time will cause her to transform into a deer and run away.
