After the war between the Plants and Earth, peace seemed to settle over coordinators and naturals alike. But not all was as it seemed. Some still worried in their corners of the world. They worried that war would once again plague them, and engulf the cosmos in utter destruction. This machine was built to assuage those fears. Built in the likeness of the Destiny, one of the major players in the last war, the OIWT-K77N Fate Gundam was created to defend the innocent; and vanquish all evil, wherever it appeared. Hence, its appearance. And so, many within the Cosmic Era can now sleep peacefully at night. For they know that whatever atrocities the future may bring, the"fate" will always be there to defend them.
